Bradford - Informazioni turistiche
North Shore skiers and riders who don't want to make the trek way up north can head instead to Bradford, just a few minutes south of Haverhill and I-495. The lifts run 80 hours a week, so Bradford can accommodate almost any schedule. One hundred percent snowmaking helps ensure that no matter when you go you'll find reliable cover.
Terrain
Three triples, 2 T-bars, and four rope tows serve 13 trails, including a glade and a mogul field. There's also a big terrain park and half pipe, and in recent years Bradford's Freestyle series and big air contests have proved to be a real draw.
What Bradford lacks in vertical it makes up by providing consistent conditions and a full range of services, from ski and snowboard lessons to fit different budgets and schedules, a popular racing series, lots of special events, and rentals. A large base lodge with a cafeteria complete the picture.
Never-evers and beginners will feel comfortable at Bradford, where three rope tows serve gentle terrain. Flanking the hill on the left (looking up) is the terrain park and half pipe which are serviced by a triple chair. On the right the Wasp Chair serves a wide intermediate slope and the mogul trail. The Hornet Chair and Hornet T-bar, right up the middle, serve intermediate trails, the glade, and Roger's Chute, the steepest pitch on the hill.
The ski and snowboard lessons noted above not only fit almost any budget and schedule, there's something for nearly every age, too. There are ski programs for little kids to adults, a "Little Rider" snowboard program, ski and snowboard camps, and racing programs. All in all, little Bradford serves up big fun and a solid snow experience in a convenient location.
